Garatelier is an independent space for the research, production and circulation of contemporary printmaking. A former car workshop in Rubano, an intaglio press of 125 × 72, the acids, and the time to use them. Artists, printers, researchers, curators and designers work here.

A studio born from an individual practice, growing through a community of research. Cecilia Maran has opened the workshop where she works to other artists.

Her research begins where dry land ends: the bathymetry of the lagoon, redrawn and carried onto zinc.
